Yunnan Rural Credit has taken another step in anti-corruption.
According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission on May 22hotslotsGao Bo, former member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Yunnan Province Rural Credit Cooperative Union, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Yunnan Province Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
His resume shows that Gao Bo was born in November 1956. He is a Bai nationality, has a university degree from the Central Party School, and a member of the Communist Party of China. He started working in October 1977. He has served successively as deputy director of the Discipline Inspection Office of the Yunnan Province Branch of the People's Bank of China, president of the Zhaotong Regional Central Branch, and Kunming Central Branch Director of the Cooperative Financial Management Division of the branch, director of the Kunming Rural Credit Cooperatives Federation, assistant to the director of the Yunnan Rural Credit Cooperatives Federation, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the Kunming Rural Credit Cooperatives Federation. In May 2012, he was proposed to be appointed as Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Yunnan Province Rural Credit Cooperatives Association.
This is at least the eighth person to be dismissed from Yunnan's rural credit system in recent January. According to the paper's incomplete review, since April 24, five chairmen of rural commercial banks, one director of rural credit cooperative, one chairman of rural credit cooperative, and one secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Provincial Union have been investigated in the Yunnan Rural Credit System.
Specifically, in addition to Gao Bo, the other seven people under investigation were: Zeng Yong, former Party Secretary and Chairman of Yunnan Qiaojia Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.; former Party Committee member of Zhaotong Office of Yunnan Province Rural Credit Cooperatives Union, and former Party Secretary and Chairman of Zhaoyang Rural Commercial Bank Xiao San; Rao Shijin, former Chairman of Yanjin County Rural Credit Cooperative; Peng Mingchang, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Yunnan Longchuan Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.; Yang Shengkui, former Party Secretary and Chairman of Yunnan Jinghong Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.; Wu Yonghong, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Chenggong District Rural Credit Cooperative Association, Kunming City, Yunnan Province; Xu Lu, former Party Secretary and Chairman of Yunnan Menglian Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.
On March 20, the Yunnan Province Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision announced the seventh round of inspections of the 11th Provincial Party Committee, which mentioned that regular inspections of the Provincial Rural Credit Cooperative Union Party Committee would be carried out.
